Q: Does Haiku support Moodle imports?

A: Yes, currently we support Moodle Imports, with a few limitations.

Topic Format

We currently only support Moodle Imports that have been exported from Moodle in "Topic Format" and created with Moodle 2 backups. (Moodle 1.98 is currently not supported.) As a Moodle Admin, you can check or adjust your class export format by clicking on a Class, selecting "Edit Settings" and looking at the "Format" field (underneath "Course Summary"). (Other formats include weekly, social, and SCORM, but Haiku currently does not support these formats.) Please make sure your class is exported in Topic Format prior to uploading to Haiku, otherwise your import will not work.

Flash

Currently, Haiku LMS does not support Flash imports from Moodle. We hope to in the future. If you have flash in your import, Haiku will simply skip over it during the import.

Quizzes

Haiku LMS cannot support Moodle Quizzes or Surveys at this time. Again, we hope to in the future.If you have a quiz in your import, Haiku will simply skip over it during the import.
